Formax FD 87HDS Hard Drive Destruction Shredder

Destroy retired hard drives instead of simply discarding them. Load a drive into the appropriate cutting chamber, close the shield, and start shredding. Hardened-steel blades produce pieces 1.6 inches wide or smaller for desktop drives and 0.19 inch wide or smaller for laptop drives.

Each chamber has a safety shield and resettable LED counter. Pieces collect in a molded-plastic bin for disposal or recycling.

Automatic reverse and stop support jam handling. Sensors stop the motor when a door is open or the bin is full. Metal gearing, an all-metal cabinet, casters, and a low-noise design support operation.
