Formax 7104 High-Volume Envelope Folder & Inserter

Take manual folding and inserting out of larger mail runs. The modular Formax 7104 offers three configurations, up to eight modules, and up to 17 feed stations. Standard feeder combinations provide up to 1,500 sheets of capacity, and the envelope hopper holds up to 800 #10 envelopes.

The 22-inch touchscreen guides job programming, with unlimited saved jobs for repeat work. Process up to 4,500 envelopes per hour, or 5,500 with the optional Productivity Package, and up to 180,000 finished pieces per month. Fold up to eight sheets together and use Cascade Mode to switch automatically between feeders carrying the same document.

Mechanical double-document detection supports correct inserting. Optional Intelligent Feeders read 1- and 2-track OMR, 1D barcodes, and 2D Data Matrix on either side of a document. Optional insert feeders handle media including glossy booklets and allow reloading while running. Standard equipment includes an accumulator/divert deck, cabinets on casters, and a 4-foot output conveyor usable straight ahead or at 90 degrees.
