Formax FD 282 Dual-Head Mailpiece Tab Sealer

Reduce repeat passes when preparing folded mail. The FD 282 applies tabs to opposite sides, or to the top and side, simultaneously. One head seals an open edge; the other moves between side and leading-edge tabbing and can apply flat tabs, small labels, or up to three USPS roll stamps in one pass.

Save up to four jobs and track output with lifetime and resettable counters. Speeds reach 25,000 pieces per hour with one tab, 15,000 with two, or 10,000 with three. Media can be up to 11 × 15 inches and 1/4 inch thick.

Choose the standalone unit, the FD 282SF with a medium-duty synchronized feeder, or the FD 282HF with a heavy-duty friction feeder. Options include an output conveyor and tabletop or floor stands. Designed for USPS tabbing applications.
